A workshop, for ages 16 and above, on typography and the art of font-making, facilitated by Diptanshu Roy, Creative Director (Wunderman Thompson) and Musician, inspired by the poster art of early 20th century.
This programme is part of DAG's ‘March to Freedom’ exhibition, curated by Mrinalini Venkateswaran and presented in collaboration with the Indian Museum, Kolkata, on the occasion of seventy-five years of Independence. The exhibition re-interprets the well-known story of the Indian freedom struggle and anticolonial movement through objects that are primarily works of art (rather than historic artefacts).
